The area abounds with excellent golf courses, which range from within 10 minutes to one hour's drive from the lodges. Championship golf courses in the area include Lahinch, Doonbeg, Ballybunion, Shannon, Dromoland, Limerick, Limerick County, Adare and East Clare.Mount Cashel Lodges were recently renovated from the original coach house and stables on the Mount Cashel estate which was built initially in 1850. The lodges are self-catering and have been inspected and awarded a 4 Star rating by Failte Ireland.
